  3. Three things

I'm sharing sneak peeks of new product and display ideas on my blog this week in preparation for a large show next week

Recently I have begun to experiment with using my die cutter and unusual salvaged materials, more to be revealed soon!

I'm a pinch of Peggy, a large dash of Joan and several healthy scoops Betty Rubble

  4. I've been rearranging the craft supplies so I don't buy something I already have. I reused a wine basket as my new ribbon organizer, it works out well threading the ribbons through the wire. I decided to try something new art wise and am working on the display for that- lots of glue this week!

  5. Christie Cottage, it sounds like you are going to be busy rearranging. Good luck with all your changes.

Meeling, I am all about magazines too. I can't believe you are thinking about Thanks giving already. Good for you.

Periwinkle, I understand all the planning and preparing for a show. Good luck with your show!
I look forward to seeing your new stuff.

New End Studio, it must be the time of year for rearranging. I love your idea of using a wine basket for a ribbon organizer.

    Thanks for sharing everyone.

  6. Only a couple of things to share.

I have a big show this weekend. This is the only show I sell my sterling silver collection for the year. It's usually crazy busy and my sister came to help me out. Thank you Sister!

Over this week I have doing Etsy search ads with mixed results. I don't think it's really bringing people to my shop or getting me any views, so I am kind of up in the air about doing it again. Have you had success doing Etsy search ads? Any secrets to making them effective? I would love to hear your thoughts.

    Have a great day everyone!

  7. This is a wonderful idea for a blog post and I just may "borrow" it from you. :)

Recently I fabricated some cute seed beaded Snowflake earrings 1st to have something for the holidays in my Etsy shop and 2nd to offer something economical for those looking for inexpensive items.

However one of my favorite pieces are these lush dangle earrings as they are beautiful and the high-end, banded-baroque pearls that I used in creating them are nothing short of gorgeous.

I have not tried Etsy's Search Ads but most who have were not impressed. I did read some comments in the Etsy forums from a couple of Etsians who were happy with their search ad results ... was it luck or did they manage to get the right "keyword tags"? That may be up for debate for awhile. :)

  8. Good luck with the craft show, Valerie - I bet you'll sell tons! :D Sorry I can't help with the ad stuff, though... I haven't done anything on Etsy in awhile. ;) Good luck with it! <3

  9. Almost Precious, I love your snowflake earrings so much, they are very cute! I think I am going to give the ads one more try and see what happens. Thanks for your input,

Taylor Lynn, thank you for your well wishes, my show turned out good, now I just have to get ready for the 3 I have in November.

  10. You're welcome - I'm glad the show turned out well! Good luck with the next three - it sounds like a lot of them to me, haha, but I bet you'll do fine with all of them. :D
